You asked, “What can I do?” Here is the answer!

Hello PDC membership,

We unveiled the PDC’s Home Stretch campaign for the next 85 days during the meeting on August 10th, 2026. We had a great turn out at the meeting and many immediately signed up to push hard for the next 85 days to reach the critical Mid-Terms finish line. Our members have worked very hard over the last six months to preserve our democracy and now is the time to really enable the success of those efforts.

The PDC has launched a ten day campaign to collect funds and volunteers to drive several finish line projects.

Our flagship fundraiser is a lawn sign kit consisting of two large lawn signs. Due to Community Association Policy, signs are limited to candidates only. This means PDC volunteers will be contacting you to ask signs for which two candidates you would like delivered and placed in your yard. The suggested donation for this lawn sign kit is $200. (Apologies, but we’re still pursuing the paperwork to get a PDC checking account. In the meantime, we are cash only. Thanks in advance for your flexibility on this.)

Our goal is to get enough participation to cover the cost of the signs, the other election projects described, and also Mid-Term related projects.

PDC members, we have until August 20th, 2026 to raise funds, and just as importantly, volunteers to run these projects. The PDC is composed of enablers, activists and super activists. We need you to be the one to donate what you can and if possible volunteer to help with these projects.

Click the button below to see the PowerPoint from Lloyd Mills that explains our “Home Stretch Campaign” further. (Clarifications from the Community Association changed the yard signs permitted and therefore we are unable to provide the “Register to Vote” signs.)

Then please email speakup@preservingdemocracycoalition.com letting us know you want to help, also include your phone number and we will call.
