Indivisible 1431 has chartered a bus, which will stop in both Georgetown and Round Rock. If you wish to go to Austin, there are still several options:
If 1431 has a cancellation, they will announce it pronto.
Indivisible 1431 is working to provide ride sharing, and park sharing, wherein two or more vehicles convoy to Austin, with one parking near the Capitol, and the other near Auditorium Shores. Watch their FB group and their Signal chat. If interested in ride sharing, send an email to logistics@indivisible1431.org
Train: One can certainly ride the train to Austin!
Here’s the schedule:
- 1 pm: Bus departs for Austin. Indivisible 1431ers, particularly those not riding the bus, can meet at the Heroes of the Alamo monument
- 2 pm: Rally begins on south lawn of Capitol
- 2:30 pm-ish: March to Auditorium Shores
- 3:15 pm-ish: Rally at Auditorium Shores, with music, speakers, table displays by organizations representing environment/climate, immigration, justice, labor, Indivisibles, and more. (Indivisible 1431 will host a table)
- 5 pm-ish: Bus departs Auditorium Shores
- 5:30 pm: No Kings ends
